p.s. what kind of camera do you use on your pictures? they look...professional. though i don't remember you/nathan have a knack for photography. or maybe i just missed it. um. but the bottom line is, all of your pictures look good :) like better than digital-camera-good.
Wow, I never thought this would be the most popular post. I just put it up for the throwaway value of "shrimp with butt" which was shrimp with butt-er. ;)
I'm busy moving into a new place, where one pale orange cat awaits, and then I'm picking up Em, a cat rescued by an American couple who unfortunately are both allergic to cats and leaving for the states soon. Afterwards, there'll be a glut of kitty pictures so sickening you'll be begging for posts of the "shrimp with butt" variety.
Diane, you have no idea how much your comment surprised and flattered me. Thank you! I was actually griping about my camera because it's the same old camera I always use, and I'm not happy with the color display. Trust me, if you could see the difference between what I'm photographing and what I'm SEEING, it's a whole difference story. I think the photos ar emore interesting because I've been playing around with staging, and it helps a lot if nothing in the shot is moving. Hence, a lot of food pics;)
p.s. Each photo you see? There are like twenty different versions of that shot as I tweak the settings and angles. It's definitely not like I secretly was a photowhiz back in the apartment. Just give me time though, and maybe I'll be able to start posting pics of *gasp!* life on the street, which is SO much more interesting that it blows my mind that I can't photograph it properly.
